The Pumpkinfest Parade will take place Saturday, October 2nd. This mile long parade kicks off from Millennium Middle School (Pontiac Trail north of Nine Mile Road) at 10:00 a.m. and make its way towards downtown South Lyon (10 Mile and Pontiac Trail).
The theme for the 2010 Pumpkinfest Parade is: fairy tales!
If you would like to nominate someone to be the Grand Marshall of the 2010 Parade, please contact Patti Maida.
Please note: The parade route for 2010 has changed! The parade staging area is the parking lot of Millennium Middle School and the parade will disperse at Liberty and Warren near the South Lyon City Hall offices.
How to Get a Good Seat for the Parade:
Any place along Pontiac Trail from the entrance to Millennium Middle School (near the Biggby Coffee) to Liberty Street will offer you a good view of the Pumpkinfest Parade! Arrive early, and be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair - the parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. |
