| Enter your large pumpkin, tall sunflower or cornstalk, large squash, or unusual vegetable in our Great Pumpkin & Vegetable Contest. Bring your entry to Millennium Middle School on Friday, October 3, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm or Saturday, October 4, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am for weigh-in and registration. Entry must be weighed and registered to win.
All entries MUST be entered and weighed at the official Great Pumpkin site located on the east side of the Millennium Middle School parking lot (61526 Nine Mile Road - northwest corner of Nine Mile and Pontiac Trail - next to CVS Pharmacy). Items will be on display at the event Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5. Please enter the grounds from Pontiac Trail, the driveway next to Arby's.
Great Pumpkin Prizes:
First Place - $150.00
Second Place - $100.00
Third Place - $75.00
Total weight of 3 large pumpkins brought in - $50.00
Best Color and Shape - $25.00
Tallest Cornstalk, Tallest Sunflower, Largest Sunflower, Largest Squash or Cabbage, and most unusual vegetable will receive first place ribbons. Winners will be announced Saturday, October 4, 2008.
